“Tyrant” is an explosive political drama that takes place not in the comfy confines of our own country, but the war-ravaged Middle East. The whole thing centers on an All-American family lead by Bassam “Barry” Al-Fayeed, a Pediatrician, returning to the nation of his birth after a self-imposed 20-year exile. He must face his father, a ruthless Dictator of this Middle Eastern nation, and the rest of his ruthless family members as he fights the demons of his past. This epic tale is one of those rare chances to witness a

I was just reminded that Cory and Topanga, my favorite sitcom couple, are going to be premiering in a new spinoff on Disney Channel called “Girl Meets World.” It will feature the couple married with their kids, but the show focuses on their daughter. I have watched every episode of Boy Meets World repeatedly, and my love for Cory Matthews grows stronger every time I watch him. It is one of those character obsessions for me I guess. But I truly believe his character would make the best husband for

There are so many beautiful women on that show to lust over. And while the popular pick for the hottest lady on the show is usually Emilia Clarke, the beauty who plays Daenerys Targaryen, today we’ll focus on the lovely redhead who plays Sansa Stark – British actress Sophie Turner. Sophie is a better choice for this spot anyway, since Miss Clarke doesn’t use Twitter or Instagram –

HBO’s Silicon Valley ended it’s debut season with the episode, “Optimal Tip-To-Tip Efficiency.” The guys at Pied Piper started the season with a simple algorithm for a compression company. What any of that means, not even main character Richard Hendricks knew until the very end of the season, and even then he changed the whole face of the company in the show’s final moments. Along the way, he had the help of a hilarious group of techies all incubating under the roof of Aviato founder, Erlich Bachman. Hats off to comedian TJ

There exists in this world great literature. In this same world, there also exists Reality TV. Here’s what would happen if the two were combined… Jay Gatsby of The Great Gatsby: The Bachelor Chris Harrison is so Nick Carraway. Picture their Pre-Rose Ceremony sit downs. Chris Harrison: “So Jay, how do you feel about Ashlee telling you that she is falling in love with you?” Gatsby: “Well, old sport, I just really hope my ex Daisy is watching this.” Gatsby would take those cocktail parties to the next level. He’s so

I’m home for the summer after my first year of college. Now, I’ve been working a few part-time jobs, catching up with friends, and re-adjusting to suburban life, but I have found myself with a larger abundance of down time than I had at school. So, how does that culminate? Like most college students, free time translates into lying under my covers, and staring at a computer screen. In my specific case, it means catching up on the entire season of Saturday Night Live that I neglected to watch during

5 – Rick in The Walking Dead The, “We let go of all of it,” speech. In the midseason finale of Season 4, Rick pours his heart out and tells his audience at the fence of the prison that we can forget the past. If everyone will put down their weapons, they can all live together as one. It’s an unprecedented moment showing the character growth of Rick Grimes. A leader stands alone in front of his enemy directly in harm’s way asking for a new beginning separate from all the

So, assuming you like those things and aren’t some miserable curmudgeon, I’d like to introduce you to your new addiction: Tru Tv’s The Carbonaro Effect, starring magician/comedian Michael Carbonaro. Haven’t seen the show yet? Haven’t heard of it? Well, worry not, because the show actually premieres May 15th at 10PM Eastern. However, a first glimpse of this surefire

It’s so easily accessible and not to sound like the stereotypical bad influence in a D.A.R.E. ad but…everyone is doing it. Phase 1: Discovery With all this talk about Netflix I might as well see what’s up. Sometimes I like to have the TV on in the background while I do other stuff like clean my apartment or check Facebook. Phase 2: Experimentation Top picks for me? Why thank you, Netflix. You’re so sweet
Read More*Spoilers Ahead* First off, I want to say that I love Game of Thrones. I have an unhealthy obsession with the show, the books, everything. Even this episode has some good moments. Seriously, watch it. But…. let’s face it, the episode Breaker of Chains sucked because…. 1. HBO loves unnecessary nudity. Literally every episode so far has been screaming “Hey! Look at Oberyn! He likes men and women! See, he has orgies!!” Alright, we’ve seen him seducing everyone in sight now for several episodes. He’s bisexual and proud. Got it. Can we

While everyone is rehashing the latest episodes of Mad Men and Game of Thrones next Monday, I’ll be embarking on quite a different adventure. April 21st marks the return of Cartoon Network’s cult animated series Adventure Time, which will be entering its sixth season. Full of frenetic characters and colorful fantasy locales, it’s easy to see why the show has been such a phenomenal success with the network’s preteen demo, but that’s not all this wacky cartoon brings to the table. In fact, it’s difficult to describe its appeal without

Kimmel said that 27-year-old child-star-turned-rapper Drake was ready to know what people really thought about him, so they slapped a beard on him for an epic segment of Lie Witness News. And it’s awesome. In case you celebrated Thirsty Thursday, tucked in early or just want to watch it over and over (and over) again, this one’s for you.

My name is Awesome. Oh sorry I meant “Earl.” My Name is Earl. The hilarious show is absolutely amazing and deserves nothing but a 5 star rating, even if the option existed to only give 4 stars. I was blessed to be given the opportunity to watch it on a hard drive. Because of this, I was able to see all 4 seasons continuously. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard I had tears coming out of my eyes. This genius show is based around the character,

It sounded like an April Fool’s joke disguised as a marketing ploy займ на карту онлайн без отказа. It wasn’t. Unless the satellite was in my head all along, in which case I have to avoid a certain delusion-inducing Dick in the library fiction aisle. Fans

I love Impractical Jokers. That hilarious show is pretty much the reason I watch Tru TV…well, other than the first rounds of March Madness, of course. So while viewing Impractical Jokers the last few weeks, I’d been noticing a few previews for a show that looked kindasorta intriguing: The Carbonaro Effect. After seeing these brief trailers for the show, I was interested enough that I decided to watch the full 20-minute pilot that Tru TV broadcast on April Fools Day. But make no mistake – Michael Carbonaro and his upcoming show are no
