Celebrating those that are “Handmade the Hard Way” with George Dickel Whiskey

Christmas is upon us in a mere two days, and if you’re looking for a gift that will really leave an impression on a special someone this Christmas Day, look no further than a truly special product from our friends at George Dickel.

George Dickel Whiskey products are famously “Handmade the Hard Way;” they use no computers in their distillation process, just the hard work of 30 people who genuinely care about their whiskey. And just like the motto of George Dickel, we all have some people in our lives who are handmade the hard way – that is, those special people who are there for you through thick and thin; genuine people who never compromise integrity for style or flash.

Goerge Dickel recently launched a Barrel Program where restaurants and bars can buy a single barrel and be the only store in the country to sell that barrel, a truly unique idea which is sure to generate a lot of hype amongst whiskey enthusiasts. In addition to this fantastic new program, the great people at George Dickel got into the holiday spirit and sent me two bottles of rare, limited-edition whiskey to enjoy and share with a friend who embodies their motto.

One of my closest friends in the last year, Jessica, was able to share in this experience with me. Jessica has been there through thick and thin with me in 2014, and I thought that she’d be the perfect friend to embrace the spirit of being “handmade the hard way.”

As you go through the holiday season this year, I strongly encourage you to pick up a bottle of this special whiskey for a special person who has had a great impact on your life. If you can’t find a bottle of George Dickel in time for Christmas, I assure you, this whiskey will delight your friend as a gift to launch the New Year of 2015 as well.

Happy holidays, everyone. And as always, party responsibly! Here’s to all of the fantastic people in your lives who live up to George Dickel‘s honorable creed!
