You might recognize Mikaela her from her appearances in Happy Endings, How I Met Your Mother, The League, and Two and a Half Men – to name just a few.  This month, we’re lucky enough to feature her right here on Writtalin! Read on to learn a little bit more about this gorgeous actress and model, and then, check out some photos of Mikaela below. We have a feeling you’ll be just as excited as us to kick off 2015 with a lady like Mikaela Hoover!

How would you pick yourself up at a bar? With humor. Funny guys are the best.

What is your New Year’s resolution? Not so much McDonald’s and more dance classes.

Favorite winter activity? Sitting in the ski lodge drinking hot chocolate and stuffing my face with sweets (does that count as a winter activity?).

Ski, snowboard, or neither? I used to ski when I was a child but haven’t been in years.

Tell us something most people don’t know about you: I’m from a small town and grew up on the river.

Ideal first date:  Some kind of dive bar. The shittier the better. I love people watching.

Nothing is sexier than a man that can ____________ (fill in the blank):  Not take himself too seriously.

Alcoholic beverage of choice?  Beer.

Tell us what YOU think your best quality is, physical or otherwise: I try to always be kind. I also don’t take myself too seriously.

One thing you could never do without:  My girlfriends.

Favorite holiday: 4th of July at the Loon Lake.

Favorite memory from 2014: Taking my best friend’s daughter, Addison, to her first day of school.

What are you looking forward to most in 2015? I have some great projects coming out so I am really excited for that. I’m also looking forward to booking a pilot that gets picked up, or booking a big film!
